Allen and Ellen Slabaugh, Milford, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary July 5, 2009. Allen and the former Ellen Plummer were married July 5, 1969, at First United Methodist Church, Warsaw, with the Rev. Brian Witwer officiating.

He works in sales at GulfStream Coach, Nappanee, and she is a homemaker.

The couple have two children, Marty Lee Slabaugh, Westville, and Christina Rae (and spouse Drew) Rosenberry, Syracuse; and two grandchildren.

The couple plan dinner with family and a trip to Pigeon Forge, Tenn.[[In-content Ad]]
