Skeletal Remains Found North Of Warsaw

A forensic anthropologist from Indianapolis was at the scene this morning after what appear to be human skeletal remains were found Sunday.
The remains were found in a wooded area near the intersection of CRs 175E and 350N, north of Warsaw, police said.
Police received a call after young people playing in the area happened upon the scene.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department and the Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office are investigating.
Police secured the area after the discovery and guarded it overnight while waiting for the anthropologist to arrive this morning.
No further information regarding the discovery was being released. Police could not estimate how long it might take to identify the remains and determine a cause of death.[[In-content Ad]]
