James A. and Lora Sizemore, Warsaw, announce the engagement of their daughter, Vanessa L. Sizemore, Warsaw, to Mark A. Pohl, Winona Lake. He is the son of Ralph and Nan Pohl, Lima, Ohio.

The bride-to-be works at Applebee's restaurant, Warsaw. She is a 2008 Warsaw Community High School graduate.

The groom-elect is a family consultant at Lifeline Youth and Family Services, Fort Wayne. He graduated from Temple Christian High School, Lima, in 2001, and earned a bachelor's degree in communications from Grace College in 2004, and a master's degree in ministry from Grace Theological Seminary in 2007.

The couple plan an April 17 wedding.
