Editor, Times-Union:
On behalf of the Silver Lake Days Festival committee I would like to thank everyone who assisted with and or attended this year’s festival.

Special thanks to the Silver Lake Lions Club, town board, police department, fire department and town employees for all their assistance. Thanks also to all our local and area merchants for their monetary donations or donations of time and materials. In addition, thanks to the parade and car show officials as well as the area radio stations and newspapers for their coverage.

Lastly, a big thanks you to the festival committee itself. You are the ones who truly made it happen! Plans are underway for next year’s festival. Please let the committee know if you are interested in being involved.
