Kosciusko Silent No More has planned a "Get Out The Vote Breakfast Blitz" Oct. 30.

The group is requesting hundreds of people from across the county to join at Center Lake Pavilion for a free breakfast before dividing up into teams and going door to door.

On Nov. 2, the group will provide transportation to and from the polls for those who need the service.

On Oct. 30, each household will receive a packet that will include a non-partisan voter guide, and a card with a phone number for the transportation service.

People interested in participating in the initiative are asked to meet at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 30 for breakfast at Center Lake Pavilion. The door-to-door efforts will be from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Monica Boyer, co-founder of Kosciusko Silent No More, said the group has worked hard over a year and a half.

"We have united, we've rallied and we've even made several trips to D.C. to bring our voice to the hearts of the lawmakers," Boyer said.

"It's time we put the signs down. It's time we put our effort and money where our mouths have been this year."

Boyer said she is encouraging anyone who has come to the group's meetings, those who have stood with the group holding signs and who care about the direction of the country to come out and help get the message out.
