NORTH MANCHESTER – The North Manchester Historical Society and the Manchester Shepherd’s Center announced their fall travel schedule.
Two spaces are available for the trip to Thunder Bay Resort in Hillman, Mich., and Soo Locks in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., June 18-20.
They will also stop at Michigan State University for a tour of its trial gardens. The price is all inclusive except for two lunches which will be on your own.
Cost for the Michigan trip is $295 per person, double occupancy.
On August 26 through 29, they will be traveling to Pennsylvania to attend “Moses” at Sight and Sound Theater. The next day they tour Gettysburg and the Eisenhower home and farm.  The final day will be spent at Blennerhassett Museum and Blennerhasset Island in Parkersburg, W.Va. on the way home to North Manchester.
The Gettysburg trip costs $599 per person, double occupancy and $695 for single occupancy.
Price is all-inclusive except for a lunch stop on the way and dinner stop on the way home which will be on your own.
The Gettysburg trip requires a depost of $100.

County Commissioners Say ‘No’ To Rezoning For Data Center
A data center won’t be coming to the Leesburg area anytime soon. By a 3-0 vote Tuesday, the Kosciusko County Commissioners upheld the Area Plan Commission’s 8-0 recommendation to deny rezoning over 500 acres from agricultural to industrial-3. The property is on the north side of CR 700N, west of CR 300W, in Prairie and Jefferson townships.

County Opens Bids For Work In Justice Building
Bids were opened at Tuesday’s Kosciusko County Commissioners meeting for construction work in two offices at the Justice Building.
