Joel and Judy Shoemaker, Warsaw, will mark their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 6, 2008. Joel Shumaker and Judy Jullian were married Aug. 6, 1958, in Warsaw.

He is retired from Dalton Foundry, and she is a retired homemaker.

The couple have five children: Rex (and spouse Tracey) Shumaker, Shelly (and spouse Patrik) Gilley, Melissa Long, and Carol (and spouse Kevin) Bartley, all of Warsaw, and Sherri Wilson, Columbia City. They have seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The couple will celebrate the anniversary with their family Saturday.[[In-content Ad]]
