Ted and Mary Shoemaker, North Webster, announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Shoemaker, to Andrew Eisberg, New Haven. He is the son of Denny and Cindy Eisberg, New Haven.

The bride-to-be is a 2007 graduate of Wawasee High School and is currently attending IPFW as a full-time student, enrolled in the dental lab technology program. She works at Kroger’s, Fort Wayne.

The groom-elect graduated from Fort Wayne Snider High School in 2005 and earned a bachelor’s degree in computer animation from the University of Saint Francis, Fort Wayne, in 2009. He works at AALCO, Fort Wayne.

The couple plan an Oct. 29, 2011, wedding.
