Shirley J. Wong, 78, died at 1:30 p.m. April 28, 2010, in Grace Village Health Care, Winona Lake.

She was born Aug. 7, 1931, in Kosciusko County, to Ellis and Letha Baugher Koher. She married John Wong, who died July 12, 1989.

A lifetime Warsaw resident, she was co-owner with her husband, John, of John Wong's Restaurant for 29 years, retiring in 1994.

Surviving are a daughter, Lana (and spouse Rick) Jones, Warsaw; three sons: John E. (and spouse Joan) Wong, Flower Mound, Texas; Joe (and spouse Stacey) Wong, Brownsburg; and David L. (and spouse Cindy) Wong, Warsaw; eight grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a brother, Martin (and spouse Melody) Koher, North Webster; and a sister, Patricia Dean, Goshen. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellis and Letha Koher, and a brother, Kenneth Koher.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, officiated by Pastor Jeff Pfeiffer of Warsaw Community Church. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
