She was born May 15, 1941, in Welch, W.Va., to George and Anna Short Beavers. On March 14, 1959, in Clinchco, Va., she married Charlie Cantrell, who survives.
Living most of her life in Kosciusko County, she worked at Zimmer, retiring in 2000 from the molding department after 30 years of service. She was a member of United Pentecostal Church, Warsaw. She enjoyed reading and was an avid canner of fruits and vegetables.
Also surviving are two sons, Jesse (and spouse Tammy) Cantrell, Streamwood, Ill., and John (and spouse Lorrie) Cantrell, Warsaw; a daughter, Marjeanna (and spouse Terry) Worley, Silver Lake; eight grandchildren: Nicole (and spouse Steve) Bachelor, Plano, Ill.; Christina and Jessica Cantrell, both of Streamwood, Ill.; Kelly (and spouse Juan) Ramirez, Katie Cantrell and Shelby Layne, all of Warsaw; Joni Cantrell, Granger; and Michelle (and spouse Morgan) McGlennen, Silver Lake; nine great-grandchildren; five brothers: Booker Beavers, Clinchco, Va.; James (and spouse Donna) Beavers and Donald (and spouse Gertie) Beavers, all of Tazewell, Va.; Clifford Beavers, Claypool; and Homer (and spouse Jennifer) Dove, Warsaw; and three sisters, Goldie Hooks, Warsaw, and Rosemary (and spouse Toddie) Justice and Birdie (and spouse Pleas) Stiltner, all of Grundy, Va. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Louie and Wallace Beavers, and a sister, Nadine Chadwick.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, officiated by Pastor William Whitaker, Family of Warsaw, Warsaw Family Worship.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
