Candi Hizer and Jack Shidler, both of Logansport, announce the engagement of their daughter, Megan Shidler, Warsaw, to Adam Arndell, Warsaw. He is the son of Diana Scherzer, Warsaw, and Kelly Arndell, San Diego, Calif.

The bride-to-be works in packaging at Medtronic, Warsaw. She graduated from Caston High School, Fulton, in 2003, and Premier College of Cosmetology in July 2004.

The groom works in packaging at Biomet, Warsaw. He graduated from Harrison, Evansville, in 2002.

The couple plan a May 15, 2010, wedding.
