John "Bud" and Donna Shear, Warsaw, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary May 15, 2008. John Shear and Donna Roberts were married May 15, 1948, in Columbia City.

He is retired, and she is employed in the electronics department at Wal-Mart.

The couple have two children, Cathy (and spouse Dennis) Lundgren, Warsaw, and Steve (and spouse Michele) Shear, Indianapolis. They have five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The couple celebrated the anniversary with a familiy dinner in their home May 17.[[In-content Ad]]
