Sharon Kay Johnson, 68, Warsaw,  passed away at 7:12 a.m. Dec. 7, 2015, in her residence.
She was born March 12, 1947, in Logansport, to Donald and Florence Hizer Whittenberger. On Dec. 6, 1969, in Claypool, she married Richard Johnson, who survives in Warsaw.
She was raised in the Beaver Dam area until moving to Warsaw where she lived for the past 25 years. She graduated from Akron High School in 1965 and then graduated from Warner Beauty School, Fort Wayne, in 1965. She was retired from Big Lots Department Store, Warsaw.
She enjoyed garage sales, shopping at the Goodwill Store, gardening and watching sports. She was a fan of the Indianapolis Colts and Peyton Manning.
Also surviving are three children: LaDonna (and spouse Jon) Mitchell, Rochester; Sondra (and spouse Mike) Slone, Warsaw; Brian (and spouse Paige) Johnson, Akron; and eight grandchildren: Lindsay, Joshua, Danielle, Kennedy, Kaylee, Austin, Kelton and Kyler. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A private graveside will be at Oakwood Cemetery, with Chaplain Bob Jarboe, Kosciusko Homecare and Hospice, officiating.
Calling is from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
