Abby Noelle Shafer and Aaron Robert Turner were married Aug. 2, 2008, at Oakwood Inn Gazebo, Syracuse, with Pastor William Greenwood officiating. The bride is the daughter of Randall and Darla Shafer, Warsaw; the groom's parents are Robert and Julie Turner, Warsaw.

Matron of honor was Darla Shafer, mother of the bride, Warsaw. Bridesmaids were Lauren Zeltwanger, April Taylor and Carli Anglin, all of Warsaw; Emily Weaver, Rochester; Lashell Weaver, Akron; Rebekah Parker, Silver Lake; and Lauren Shafer, Valparaiso. Flower girl was Rylee Kaufman, Akron.

Best man was Brandon Aylor, brother-in-law of the groom, Warsaw. Groomsmen were Joey Serovy and Deon Shafer, both of Warsaw; Doug Snow, Indianapolis; Drew Shafer, Valparaiso; Josh Murphy, Akron; and Joe Murphy, Ft. Wayne. Ushers were Josh and Joe Murphy, cousins of the bride.

A dinner and dance reception was held at the Oakwood Inn.

The bride is a financial counselor for MedAssist Inc., Indianapolis. She is a 2004 graduate of Tippecanoe Valley High School and received a degree in elementary education from Grace College in 2008.

The groom is a 2002 graduate of Warsaw Community High School and earned a bachelor's degree in biology from Grace College in 2006. He currently attends Indiana University where he is studying for a doctorate in physical therapy.

After a week long honeymoon to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple reside in Indianapolis.[[In-content Ad]]
