Several Events Planned In Kosciusko County For Memorial Day

Warsaw
The annual Warsaw American Legion Post 49 and Veterans Of Foreign Wars Post 1126 Memorial Day ceremony is on Memorial Day, Monday.
Dave Wolkins, state representative, will give the address.
The color guard, firing squad and other organizational units will form in front of the sexton’s office and begin to march to the ampitheater at 10:55 a.m.
A program open to the community will be at the cemetery bandstand.
Combined color guards will post the colors.
Pierceton
Pierceton American Legion Post 258 will have its 26th Memorial Day parade Monday with parade lineup at Pierceton Elementary School at 10:30 a.m. The parade will begin at 11 a.m., followed by a Memorial Day service in Brower Park, Pierceton. A carry-in dinner will be at 1 p.m. at the Pierceton Legion.
Etna Green
Etna Green’s Memorial Day services will begin at 10 a.m. at the Etna Green United Methodist Church.
Concluding services will follow at the Etna Green east cemetery.
Veterans should meet at the fire station at 9:30 a.m.

North Webster
North Webster has planned ceremonies Monday. Ceremonies will be at 9 a.m. at Thorn Cemetery; 9:30 a.m. at Salem Cemetery; 10 a.m. at Mock Cemetery; and 10:30 a.m. at Webster Post 253. A parade will begin at 10:45 a.m. in the downtown and go to North Webster Cemetery where a Memorial Day ceremony will be at 11 a.m. Don Roulo is the guest speaker at the North Webster Cemetery, and Russ Chandler is the guest performer.
Syracuse
A Memorial Day Parade will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. The parade travels north on Ind. 13 to Syracuse Cemetery on High Street and a brief ceremony will take place there following the parade.
Milford
Milford’s Memorial Day Parade is Monday beginning at 10 a.m., with lineup at 9 a.m. at Ind. 15 and Emeline Street.
Silver Lake
A Veterans ceremony is Saturday at 1 p.m. at Lakeview Cemetery.
Nappanee
Nappanee will celebrate Memorial Day on Monday.
Parade lineup is at Nappanee Elementary from 10 to 10:30 a.m. with a parade to city hall and a Memorial Service at 11 a.m. at city hall.
