Seven Arrested In Separate Drug Investigations

Early Monday morning, four men from Chicago were arrested on drug charges after a traffic stop.
According to the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department, Warsaw Police Patrolman Chris Anderson stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on Old 30 near the intersection with CR 250E around 3:49 a.m.
Anderson then contacted Warsaw Corporal Joel Beam, who went to the scene of the stop with his K-9, and the dog reportedly detected the presence of an illegal substance.
During the investigation, drug task force officers determined that the vehicle allegedly contained evidence of marijuana.
Anthony Medina, 26; Ruben Murillo, 23; Francisco Stevey Riveria, 31; and Jesus Salazar, 23, all of Chicago, were booked into the Kosciusko County Jail for dealing a controlled substance.
Riviera also was charged with possession of marijuana, while Salazar also was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance.
All four men are being held on bonds of $100,000.
The second arrest came Tuesday after Warsaw Patrolman Jon Rice was conducting a welfare check at Valley Forge Apartments and reportedly discovered a methamphetamine lab.
Around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Rice went to 3100 Frontage Road, Apt. 62, to respond to the call. Officers who went in the paratment discovered that meth was being produced inside.
Nikita Nichole Johnson, 24, Frontage Road, Warsaw; Teresa Sue Hall, 37, Warsaw; and Erik Michael Jarvis, 23, Old 30, Warsaw were arrested by the Kosciusko County Drug Task Force for manufacturing methamphetamine. Hall and Jarvis also were charged with visiting a common nuisance.
Johnson, Hall and Jarvis all are being held in the Kosciusko County Jail on $20,000 bonds.
The Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab Team was called to the scene to secure hazardous items from apartment.[[In-content Ad]]
