Editor, Times-Union:

Regardless of what one believes about the homeless shelter being located in the downtown area, an opportunity exists to join with one downtown merchant in serving those less fortunate.

Dudley Allen of 8WW Cuisines will be opening the doors of his restaurant on Thanksgiving Day to serve a meal to the homeless, those with financial challenges and others who seek to join together to give thanks for blessings both large and small.

Let us join together to serve others and to give thanks.
