Brower Graduates Training
Army Pfc. Lewis M. Brower graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches and field training exercises.
He is the son of Becky and Michael Brower, Syracuse.
Brower graduated in 2007 from Wawasee High School, Syracuse.

Coppes Earns Dean’s List
INDIANAPOLIS – Haley Coppes, Warsaw, was named to the Dean’s List by Valerie Eickmeier, dean for Herron School of Art and Design at IUPUI, for academic achievement during the 2012-13 academic year.
This was the result of earning a 3.5 (A) or higher semester grade point average while carrying at least 12 credit hours.[[In-content Ad]]
