We would like to take this opportunity to thank two very special people, John and Hoss of Serenity House. Two people that give all their time and efforts to taking care of our songs, brothers, fathers, uncles, husbands and friends that need help, especially with some kind of addiction. Two people that see a great need to help people get their lives back. Two people that offer the 12-step program and a house to live in that offers support and sponsors to guide and teach what they don’t know about staying well and strong.

We’ve been to Serenity House many times. To see a father anxiously awaiting his child(ren) to come and visit in a house setting instead of a jail is priceless. Both John and Hoss have an open door in case you need to talk or have a problem.

We know many people support Serenity House, and to you also we say “thank you” and “Bless you.” And to others who say yes I support it, but do you really? Lots of people go to Haiti, Africa and countries that really do need help and that is good. But to those that can’t go, can you help here? Would you be willing to help save more of our own boys and men right here?

Some jails are 80 percent crowded with drug users and alcoholics. Remember, these are fathers, sons, husbands ... what a blessing to be working to save people. Most of the time there aren’t enough beds to offer to those that want to come to Serenity House. What a blessing if they could expand. To save more of our loved ones. Search your hearts, we beg each of you. What if it was your son? We can promise you wouldn’t feel indifferent. We know it has changed our hearts. So where are you men and women of courage? Are you ready to step out and say I’ll help?

Thank you again, Hoss and John for stepping forward and being who you are.
