Thompson Sentenced For 3 Charges

Jeffery Scott Thompson, 21, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court to 1-1/2 years in prison for possession of methamphetamine, a Class D felony. He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling 288 days.

For a second charge of theft, a Class D felony, he was sentenced to 1-1/2 years in prison, receiving 288 days credit for good time and time served.

For a third count of failure to stop after an accident resulting in serious bodily injury, a Class D felony, he was sentenced to 2-1/2 years in prison. The sentence for the first two counts will run concurrently, with the sentence for the final charge served consecutively.

He was ordered to pay a $100 fine, court costs, a $200 drug interdiction fee and $26,533.20 in restitution.

James W. Scott, 45, recently was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court to two years in prison for possession of methamphetamine, a Class D felony. He will receive credit for time served and good time credit totaling 532 days.

He was ordered to pay a $100 fine, court costs and a $200 drug interdiction fee.[[In-content Ad]]
