By Staff Report-

Starting Tuesday, The Senior Primelife Enrichment Center will offer two computer classes with Mike Kendall from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.

They will have Basic computers and from 2:30-4:30 p.m. they will give a class on “how to get up to speed with all those new gadgets that our children give us.”

Basic computer is for anyone who wants to learn how to use the computer or how to refresh our memories from the class you took a while back. This class helps you get better acquaint with the keyboard and the mouse.

The gadgets class will explain “sending a photo by phone,” laptop, Kindle, I-pad, I-phone texting etc. etc.

Bring your questions so that you can be an expert using your toys this winter.

Both classes will meet for three weeks, two hours at a time for six class periods for  $45.

E-mail [email protected] or call Barb at  574-834-1600, Ext. 4, to register for either class.  All ages are welcome to come to the SPEC for the classes.

Starting November and throughout the winter months, they will have an afternoon card day on the third Tuesday of each month.  The first one will be  Nov. 15 at 12:15 p.m.  Come and play the card game or game of your choice with old friends or make new acquaintances.  Everyone is welcome.  Bring a snack to share, if you like.  Soft drinks and coffee will be provided.

Are you confused about the changes in Medicare? If so, call and ask about the upcoming seminar and the availability of the local SHIP representative. Remember, the open enrollment is Oct. 15 to Dec. 7.

Toni from the Foot Connection, services SPEC on the third Wednesday of every month. Come and have your feet pampered and nails cut by a professional for a small fee. Call Barb at SPEC at 574-834-1600, Ext. 4 for an appointment.[[In-content Ad]]
