Security Guard Faces Charges Following Incident At Trailer Park

July 28, 2016 at 4:25 p.m.

A security officer was arrested Thursday night for public indecency and nudity with the intent to arouse.
According to a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department narrative from the County Clerk’s Office, at about 9:10 p.m. May 28, an officer was sent to Whispering Pines Trailer Park in reference to a sexual harassment or public nudity complaint.
Upon arrival, the officer spoke with the victim who said on May 26 she was invited to the home of Johnny Gomez, 49, Lot 158, in the trailer park. The victim reported she was invited to the residence so her children could play outside with other neighborhood children. She said Gomez had set up a sprinkler and slip-and-slide at his residence for the children to play on. At least 14 children were at the residence.
While the victim was visiting with the adults supervising the children, Gomez told the victim he wanted to have sex with her. After the comments, the victim became uncomfortable and went outside of the of the Gomez home. Gomez followed her wearing only his boxer shorts.
The victim reported that while she was outside, Gomez began to follow her and continued his sexual advances, eventually chasing her as she tried to get away from him.
While the victim was trying to evade Gomez, his boxer shorts fell down, exposing his genitals and he continued pursuing her.
The narrative states that multiple children observed Gomez naked. The victim decided to leave the Gomez property and gathered her children into her vehicle. As they were preparing to leave, Gomez again approached her, wearing only his boxer shorts. He then climbed onto the hood of her vehicle and exposed himself through the fly of his boxer shorts. The victim said he did this as he was straddling on the hood of her vehicle in front of the windshield.
After Gomez exposed himself, the victim reported he began to make a gyrating motion, simulating a sex act on the victim’s vehicle hood. Her children witnessed Gomez’s alleged acts.
Gomez eventually dismounted her vehicle and went back into his house, and the victim drove away.
The narrative states Gomez is employed by Whispering Pines Trailer Park as a security officer. After the incident, Gomez allegedly told the victim he would have her evicted from the trailer park if she reported the incident to police.
The victim later learned there was a video of Gomez chasing her around and mounting her vehicle. She obtained two cell phone videos from the person who made them and provided the investigating officer with the videos. The narrative states the officer viewed the videos and determined that the incident transpired as the victim had reported.
Gomez’s bond was set at $500.[[In-content Ad]]
