Scouts Stay On Submarine

Members of Boy Scout Troop 715 participate in various summer events.

Scouts William Anderson, Adam Becker, Cameron Carter, Tyler Ingle, Michael Meadows, Patrick Olson, Kyle Smith, Jonathan Tinkey, David and Taylor Zigon and adult leaders Keith Lafountain, Dick McCleary and Scott McClintock volunteered to assist with the Lincolnway District's Cub Scout Day Camp in June.

In July, the Scouts took a canoe trip down the Eel River.

On Aug. 2, a group headed up to Muskegon, Mich., to visit the Great Lakes Naval Museum. Besides learning about the history of the U.S. Navy in the five Great Lakes, the Scouts spent the night aboard the submarine USS Silversides. Time also was spent exploring the many sand dunes along the lakefront.[[In-content Ad]]In October, the Scout Troop is planning a weekend camping trip to the Hoosier Forest in southern Indiana to do some geode hunting.

If approved, the variance would permit LexLil Contracting to have 100% outside unscreened storage and display.
