Scout Troop Chooses New Youth Leaders

Senior patrol leader is Nick Hawn, assistant senior patrol leader is shared by Zach Laureano and Kole Smith with Austin Whitaker, chaplain. Youth patrol leader is Wyatt Slone with assistant Will Bibler. Scribe is Jordan Timbers and Dillan King is quartermaster. These scouts hold this position for one year.
October 7-9 is Fall Camporee in which the Scouts will camp Friday and Saturday nights at Syracuse Woods. They also plan their meals and decide what is needed to be purchased in order to make these meals.
The Scouts are currently working on their Fly Fishing Merit Badge and are learning to tie arbor backing knot, nail knot, needle knot and the double surgeon S loop.
Bill Bibler and Mike Canada will offer an orienteering course for an additional merit badge at the end of October.
A boy who is at least 10 years old, or who has completed the fifth grade can join Boy Scouts.
