Donald and Phyllis Schuster, 2071 N. Coachlight Drive, LaPorte, will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary July 4, 2011.

Donald and the former Phyllis Alderfer were married July 4, 1986, at the Warsaw Fairgrounds.

Don is retired.

Phyllis works for LaPorte County government.

The couple have six children: Lee Ann King, Louisiana; Penny Newcomer, Syracuse; Eddy Schuster, Goshen; Donna Stokley, Tennessee; Jay Searing and Harry Payne, both of LaPorte; and Emma Jane Murphy, Knox; 17 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

The couple will have a celebration from 2 to 4 p.m. July 4 (LaPorte time) at the couple’s residence.
