Schipper 60th Anniversary

Leon “Lonnie” and Betty Schipper, 3071 S. CR 1300E, Akron, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary June 9, 2011.
Leon and the former Betty Shireman were married June 9, 1951, at Emmanuel Church, near Gilead, by the Rev. Harold Mishler.
They are retired dairy farmers and have attended Silver Creek Church of God their married life.
The couple have three children: Jan (and spouse Dan) Yoder, Silver Lake; Steve (and spouse Sheila) Schipper, Macy; and Chris (and spouse Dena) Schipper, Akron; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchild, with another due in November.
The family will attend services together Sunday at Silver Creek Church of God and then enjoy a meal at Brownstone Restaurant, South Whitley.[[In-content Ad]]
