Jennifer Nicole Scherer and Scott Matthew Sands were married at 2 p.m. Aug. 14, 2010, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw, by Father Dan Parrish.

The bride's parents are Bob and Colleen Scherer, Warsaw; John and Marsha Sands, Silver Lake, are the groom's parents.

Maid of honor was Megan Scherer, Warsaw.

Bridesmaids were Devan Sands, Liz Sisson and Kelly Smoker, all of Warsaw; Jessica Thorndike, Chicago, Ill.; Kim Clay, Noblesville; and Rebekah Kindle, Silver Lake.

Flower girl was Graycee Sands, Warsaw.

Best man was Aaron Sands, Silver Lake.

Groomsmen were Ryan Sands, Brad Scherer and Brian Heiman, all of Warsaw; Matt Sands and Brent Kindle, both of Silver Lake; and Chris Sands, Bloomington.

Ring bearer was William Burnett, Warsaw.

Ushers were Thomas Balestri, Long Island, N.Y., and Tyler Wadkins, Warsaw.

The reception was at The Back 40, Bourbon.

The bride is a registered nurse at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. She graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 2006, and earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from Ball State University in May 2010.

The groom works at Sands Farms Inc., Silver Lake, and the Kosciusko County Highway Dept., Warsaw. He graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 2005; attended Anderson University for a year; and did a farming internship at Fredericks Harvesting, Alden, Kan., from 2008-09.

The wedding trip was to The Sandals Regency Resort, St. Lucia.
