Scarberry Enlists

INDIANAPOLIS - Justin T. Scarberry, Kuder Lane, Warsaw, recently enlisted in the U.S. Army's Delayed Entry Program, and will report for active duty Jan. 7.

The 2006 Wawasee High School graduate will take basic training at Fort Benning, Ga., and advanced individual training at Fort Gordon, Ga. He has chosen the position of radio and communications security repairer as his military occupation, and has volunteered to serve a five-year tour of duty.

Staff Sgt. Kenneth Kersey of the Army's Warsaw recruiting station assisted him in his enlistment.
