Barry and Julie Scales, Rochester, announce the engagement of their daughter, Brittany Scales, Rochester, to Daniel Barr, Pierceton. He is the son of Frank and Susanna Barr, Pierceton.  
The bride-to-be graduated from Indiana School for the Blind & Visually Impaired in 2009 and will graduate in spring from Grace College with a bachelor’s degree in youth ministry.
The groom-elect was home schooled, graduating in 2008 and will graduate from Manchester college this spring with a life science education degree.
