She was born May 7, 1935, in Warsaw, to William Franklin and Viola Shafer Rowe.
She graduated from Etna Green High School in 1953. She lived most of her life in Warsaw, moving to Michigan for 15 years, eventually moving back to Warsaw. She worked at United/Sprint Telephone Co., retiring 20 years ago. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Women of the Moose Lodge and American Legion Post 49 Ladies Auxiliary, all in Warsaw.
Surviving are three granddaughters, Kelly, Teri and Molly Lange, all of Benton Harbor, Mich.; a sister, Alice Donovan, Warsaw; and a daughter-in-law, Melba Lange, Benton Harbor. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Mark Lange, who died in 2006; five sisters; and a brother.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
No calling is planned.
McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
