NORTH MANCHESTER - Sara S. "Sally" Yoder, 64, of Silver Lake, died at 7:40 a.m. Feb. 26, 2007, in Timbercrest Healthcare Center, North Manchester.

She was born March 23, 1942, in Rochester, to Jonas and Dorothy Metzger Yoder.

She was a secretary for Mutual Security Life Insurance Co., Fort Wayne, for 23 years, and later worked at Lincoln Life, Manchester College and Timbercrest Retirement Community. She was a member of West Eel River Church of the Brethren, Silver Lake; a 1960 Silver Lake High School graduate; and received an associate's degree from Manchester College.

Surviving are two brothers, Richard Yoder, Goshen, and Daniel Yoder, Silver Lake; a sister, Colleen Felabom, North Manchester; four nieces, Kitty Bick, Melinda Rykard, Becky Yoder and Danielle Kirtley; and five nephews, Eric, Dirk, Rick and Ryan Yoder and Joe Helvey. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, John Yoder, in 1991, and a niece, Vickie Yoder.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at DeLaughter-McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Pastor Paul Tinkel officiating. Burial will be in Ulrey Memorial Cemetery (beside Eel River Community Church), Silver Lake.

Calling is from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.
