The bride-to-be is a 2007 graduate of Warsaw Community High School and received an associate's degree in applied science in medical assisting from Ivy Tech Community College, Muncie, May 13.

The groom-elect is a 2006 graduate of Jay County High School, Portland. He is a U.S. Navy aviation rescue swimmer.
