Sandra S. Dye, 67, Peru, and formerly of Warsaw, was born to eternal life at 11 p.m. May 1, 2015, at Grace Village Health Care of Winona Lake.
She was born Aug. 13, 1947, in Sandusky, Ohio, to Robert Henry II and Marion Harriet Smith Stevenson. On June 17, 1988, in Warsaw, she married Herbert A. Dye, who passed away Nov. 16, 2008.
She was a resident of Kosciusko County for 40 years. She was a 1965 graduate of Fairmont East High School in Kettering, Ohio. She moved to Warsaw in 1971, and worked at Dye Music Center of Warsaw for 10 years. She also worked for 25 years for State Farm Insurance of Warsaw. She had a love of music, entertaining many people on the organ at Petro’s, Viewpoint Restaurant, the Elks Lodge and Wolfgang’s. She enjoyed her family, friends, music, the love of her dogs …. and she also made the meanest potato salad ever known!
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Jennifer (and spouse Terry) Justice, Warsaw; a son,  Robert (and spouse Anne) Stevenson III, Warsaw; a stepson, Daniel (and spouse Carolyn) Dye, Leesburg; three grandchildren: R. Tre and Megan Stevenson and Clayton Justice; four step-grandchildren: Emma and Evan Justice and Brad and Ryan Dye; and her sister, Cindy (and spouse Charlie) Clark, San Juan Capistrano, Calif. She also was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, with Pastor Roger Welty officiating. Burial and graveside services are at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
