Sandra L. Hamilton, 79, Warsaw,  passed away at 6:48 a.m. May 28, 2016, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born May 8, 1937, in North Judson, to John B. and Alice Budka Hinchy. On July 21, 1979, in Plymouth, she was united in marriage to William Hamilton, who preceded her in death .
She retired from Penguin Point Catering, Warsaw. She was a Cubs Baseball fan and also enjoyed going to Casinos and most of all her family and all of her grand and great grandchildren.
Surviving are three daughters: Rochella (and spouse Stephen) Ransom, North Judson, Dawn (and spouse Roger) Ransbottom and Cathy (and spouse David) Rap, all of Warsaw; one sister, Joan (and spouse Donald “Don”) Young, Burbank, Ill.; a sister-in-law, Betty Hinchy, Rockville; 12 grandchildren: Chrissy, Cheyenne, Justin, Sarah, Bradley, Karrin, David, Lindsay, Tyvan, Nicolette, LauraBeth, Sterling, Daren,  Rachel, Alan, Brycelyn, Mackenzie and Maxwell; and 14 great-grandchild: Jordan, Jake, Jenna, Ezra, Kylie, Mia, Presley, Chloe, Jayda, Jaycee, Canton, Colt, Scarlett and Oaklee. She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; one sister and one son.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Wes Radtke officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
