Sandra K. Kimes, 75, passed away at 2:05 a.m. Dec. 15, 2014, in Parkview Whitley Hospital, Columbia City. She was born May 27, 1939, in Atwood, to Walter and Ruby Reed Seitner. On Oct. 19, 1964, in Warsaw, she married Dallas L. Kimes, who died March 20, 2002. She was a 1957 graduate of Warsaw High School, and a lifetime Kosciusko County resident. She was a secretary at Zimmer; she worked several years at the Flag Pole and Jet White Grocery. She was a member of First Brethren Church, Warsaw. Surviving are two daughters, Alycee (and spouse Cameron) Kissinger, North Manchester, and Patrice (and companion Chris Patrick) Hygema, Warsaw; a son, Eric (and spouse Kara) Kimes, Warsaw; four grandchildren: Ansel and Gabriell Hygema, both of Warsaw; Jaxon and Kenzi Kimes, both of Warsaw; three step-grandchildren: Joshua and Kaleigh Kissinger, both of Fort Carson, Colo.; and Jeanelle Kissinger, Fort Wayne; two sisters, Iris Nuell and Martha (and spouse Pete) Wuchter, all of Warsaw. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Carl “Ira” Seitner, who died May 17, 2009. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan St., Warsaw, with Pastor Jamy Gregory, Warsaw Community Church, officiating. Burial is in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
