Sandra D. Moore, 74, Mesa, Ariz., passed away peacefully at home at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 14, 2015, surrounded by her family after losing her courageous battle to cancer.
She was born Nov. 8, 1940, in Warsaw, to Glen and Cathryn Brookins Cripe. On Sept. 7, 1959, she married Richard “Dick” Moore, who survives.
She was a 1959 graduate of Warsaw Community High School. She lived most of her life in Warsaw where she and Dick owned and operated Moore’s Shoe Store from 1974 to 1986. During retirement, they moved to Mesa, Ariz., where they traveled and sold hand-designed crafts. She will be sadly missed.
Also surviving are four sons: Jeff (and spouse Angie), Burket; Jim (and spouse Tracey), Mentone; Jay (and spouse Deona), Tucson, Ariz.; and John (and spouse Kim), Warsaw; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and her sister, Joyce Sturn, Doylestown, Pa.
A celebration of her life will be planned at a later date in Warsaw.
