SYRACUSE - Sandra A. "Sandy" Laub, 73, of Syracuse, died at 8:35 p.m. Feb. 22, 2011, in Goshen General Hospital.

She was born Jan. 9, 1938, in Bedford, to Gus L. and Dorothy L. Hensley Beasley. On March 4, 1961, in Elwood, she married Daniel G. "Dan" Laub, who died Sept. 10, 2010.

She graduated from Wendell Wilkie High School, Elwood, in 1956, and attended Ball State University. She moved to Syracuse from Elwood in 1974 and retired in 2002 as co-owner/operator of Triangle Drafting Supply, Mishawaka, after 28 years. She was a member of St. Martin de Porres Catholic Parish and the Red Hat Society, both in Syracuse.

Surviving are four daughters: Vikki (and spouse Jim), Hall, Cicero; Angie (and spouse John) Ferguson, Elburn, Ill.; Marcy Laub (and H.B. Evans), Dulce, N.M.; and Daniele Laub (and Rick Straczek), Chicago, Ill.; four grandchildren; four sisters: Joyce Kaiser, Elwood; Sherry (and spouse Dale) Brannock, Syracuse; Michele Turco, South Bend; and Debby (and spouse Berle) Atkinson, Gas City; and a brother, Gary (and spouse Peggy) Beasley, Elwood. She was preceded in death by a brother.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Paris, Syracuse, with Father Richard Hire officiating. A private burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery.

Calling is from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse, with a rosary service at 5:45 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
