She was born March 27, 1928, in Foreman, N.D., to Clifford and Clara Nelson Bolsinger. On July 10, 1948, in Bremen, she married Wayne L. Weaver, who died Jan. 12, 2010.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Elkhart; the Women’s Auxiliary of the American Legion; and the Michiana Rental Association. Following her retirement from CTS she studied interior design at Ivy Tech, graduating with honors.
Surviving are four children: Louanna Stankovich (and LaMar Davis), North Webster; Colleen Lawhorn, Elkhart; and Kent L. Weaver and Tina Weaver (and Deb Bussard), all of Indianapolis; four grandchildren: Brent (and spouse Christi) Stankovich, Wakarusa; Brian (and spouse Amber) Stankovich, Milford, Mich.; and Ryan Lawhorn and Stacy Lawhorn (and Adam Greenwalt), all of Elkhart; seven great-grandchildren: Megan, Sydney, Emily, Nick, Beau, Brooklyn and Ty; and a sister, Lorraine Stump, Ontario, Calif. She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Harvey N. Stump.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, with Pastor Schallhorn officiating. Burial will be in Union Center Cemetery.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
