She was born Oct. 17, 1921, in Pierceton, to Frank and Florence Anderson Gebert. She was married to Harvey “Buck” Metzger, William Calvert and Bernard Harris, all who preceded her in death.
A lifetime Kosciusko County resident, she was retired from Sun Metal Inc., where she served as an administrative assistant. She was a former member of the Moose Auxiliary.
Survivors include two grandchildren, Laura Jones, Batavia, Ohio, and Stephanie Swain, Warsaw; two step-grandchildren, Carrie Stump, Pierceton, and Ty Brown, Tampa, Fla. She also was preceded in death by two daughters, Rosalie Metzger and Rebecca Boocher; two sons, Norman and Stephan Metzger; two sisters, Velma Leedy and Hazel Sweeny; and a brother, Delbert Gebert.
Private burial will be in Palestine Cemetery.
McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, is entrusted with arrangements.
