Ruth E. Wilson, 79, Warsaw, passed away at 10:20 a.m. March 19, 2015, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw.
She was born Sept. 29, 1935, in Marion, to Elbert and Carolyn Mosley Sullivan. On June 27, 1954, in Peru, she married Don Wilson, who survives.
She moved to Warsaw in 1960 from Peru, where she was a graduate of Peru High School, class of 1953. She was assistant vice president of First National Bank for several years, retiring in 1996. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Warsaw, for 30 years and was actively involved, serving on the church’s financial committee.
She is also survived by her daughter, Julie (and spouse Peter) Wehrly, Boulder, Colo.; four grandchildren: Erin and Andrea Wehrly, Andy Wilson and Sara (and spouse Gabriel) Garcia, all of Warsaw; six great-grandchildren: Hannah, Abby and Antonio Garcia; Jacob, Emma Kate and Hallie Wilson; her brother, Glen (and spouse Laurie) Sullivan, Spirit Lake, Idaho; and her sister, Carol Lou (and spouse Mike) Kunce, Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by her son, Steve Wilson.
Services will be at 3 p.m. March 28 at First United Methodist Church, Warsaw, with Pastor Toni Carmer officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, at a later date.
