She was born Oct. 11, 1926, in Van Lear, Ky., to William and Ida Salyers Dixon. On Sept. 28, 1945, she married James E. Hall, who survives in Warsaw,
A Kosciusko County resident for 52 years, she retired in 1989 after working for a number of years as a clerk for Sears, Warsaw. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Warsaw, and also was an Avon sales representative and a Girl Scout leader.
Also surviving are a son, J. Mark (and spouse Angel) Hall, Warsaw; two daughters, Jane (and spouse David) Kneller, Silver Lake, and Lesa (and spouse Rick) Hatfield, Warsaw; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, with Pastor Steve Peters officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
No visitation is planned.
