ETNA GREEN - Russell R. Ritenour, 90, of 659 E. 14B Road, Etna Green, died at 10:50 p.m. May 24, 2007, at Miller's Merry Manor Nursing Home, Plymouth.

He was born March 29, 1917, in Ashtabula County, Ohio, to Frank and Mary Eversole Ritenour. On Nov. 23, 1939, he married Mildred Bickel, who survives.

He was a retired farmer and past member of the Board of Directors of Marshall County REMC and a past 4-H leader.

Also surviving are two sons, Robert Ritenour, Angola, and Dennis Ritenour, Etna Green; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Harold (Edith) Hess and Mrs. Merle (Edna) Swihart, both of Plymouth; and his brother, Kenneth Ritenour, Bourbon. He was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Day officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Bourbon.

Calling is from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
