Russell Goudy, 69, of 1630 S. County Farm Road, Warsaw, died at 1:45 p.m. Dec. 14, 2008, in Miller's Merry Manor, Warsaw.

He was born March 28, 1939, in Graysville, W.Va., to James and Mary Henry Goudy. On Jan. 17, 1958, in New Martinsville, W. Va., he married Marva Joe Crebar, who died Nov. 29, 2002.

Moving to Warsaw from Proctor, W.Va., in 1992, he was a pattern maker at Dalton Foundries Inc., retiring in 2003.

Surviving are a daughter, Chris (and spouse Bill) Curl, Warsaw; a grandson, Rusty Curl, Warsaw; a brother, Marty Goudy, Maine; two sisters, Nila Barnes, Clarington, Ohio, and Judy Brindley, Mayfield, Ky.; and an aunt, Bettie Schied, New Martinsville.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Northview Cemetery, New Martinsville.

Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Grisell Funeral Home, 751 3rd St., New Martinsville.

McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, is in charge of local arrangements.
