SYRACUSE - Ruby J. "Jackie" Wolfe, 71, of Syracuse, died at 1:12 p.m. Dec. 15, 2010, in Miller's Merry Manor, Syracuse.

She was born March 25, 1939, in Carbon, W.Va., to the Rev. Ellis V. and Polly H. Abshire Barker.

On Nov. 25, 1977, in Pearisburg, Va., she married Hubert L. Wolfe, who died in 1994.

She attended East Bank (W.Va.) High School. She moved to North Webster from West Virginia in 1977, then to Syracuse in 2005. In 1999, she retired as a group leader from Dekko Heating Technologies Inc, North Webster, after 20 years. She was a member of North Webster Church of God and a former member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 253, North Webster.

Surviving are two stepdaughters, Janua Riley and Robin (and spouse Rick) McKibben, all of Syracuse; a stepson, Mark (and spouse Linda) Wolfe, Charlotte, N.C.; five step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Phyllis "Susie" (and spouse Vint) Eden, Blacksburg, Va. She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Owen Family Funeral Home, North Webster, with the Rev. Harlan Steffen officiating. Burial will be in North Webster Cemetery, Mock Addition.

Calling is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
