She was born April 15, 1910, in LaPlace, Ill., to Frank and Dollie Bahney Wolfe. On May 3, 1941, she married Wesley Moore who died Feb. 15, 2006.
She grew up in Florida, North Manchester and Goshen and was a 1928 graduate of Goshen High School. She was a graduate of the International Business College, Fort Wayne. She attended Manchester College, Fort Wayne, and attended Manchester College for her teaching certificate. She was an elementary school teacher in Laketon, during the 1930s. She was a foster parent, 4-H leader, member of the Women's Christian Temperance Union and actively involved in the Methodist Church and Church of the Brethren. She and her husband owned and operated Moore's Pizza, Warsaw, until retirement in 1975. After moving to Warsaw, she was a member of the North Winona Church of the Brethren and was involved with the local Farm Bureau chapter.
Surviving are two sons, Stanley (and spouse Dee) Moore, North Manchester; and Duane (and spouse Diane) Moore, Muncie; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Services are at 2 p.m. Saturday at Peabody Chapel, North Manchester, with the Rev. Sue Babovec officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, North Manchester.
Calling is one hour prior to services at Peabody Chapel.
