Jennifer Royal and Britton Burkhart were married July 25, 2008, in Ege, Ind., with the Rev. John Kuzmich officiating. The bride is the daughter of Michael and Beatrice Royal, Fort Wayne; the groom's parents are Duane and Angie Burkhart, Warsaw.

Maid of honor was Emily Royal, sister of the bride, Fort Wayne. Bridesmaids were Rebecca Royal, sister of the bride; Ann Royal, sister of the bride; Kathleen Oxley; and Janelle Cochard. Flower girl was Madeline Koehl, cousin of the bride.

Best men were Taylor Burkhart, brother of the groom, and Kurt Swender. Groomsmen were Joshua Murphy; Benjamin Royal, brother of the bride; and Samuel Royal, brother of the bride. Ring bearers were Benjamin Koehl, cousin of the bride, and Owen Koehl, cousin of the bride. Ushers were Michael Royal, brother of the bride; and Mitchell McAfoose.

A reception was held in Fort Wayne.

The bride is in the physician assistant program at Butler University. She is a graduate of Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger High School.

The groom is a pilot for Republic Airways. He is a graduate of Tippecanoe Valley High School and Indiana State University.

After a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple reside in Indianapolis.[[In-content Ad]]
