He was born Sept. 13, 1925, in Goshen, to Carl H. and Velcie M. Hapner Stetler..
He was a lifetime resident of the New Paris and Syracuse areas and attended New Paris Public Schools. In 1967, he retired from Northern Indiana Brass Company, Goshen, after more than 20 years of service. He also farmed for many years.
Surviving are three sisters: Grace Eyer and Betty Nyce, both of Syracuse; and Mary Jane Rink, Goshen.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Jackson Cemetery, Bremen, with Pastor Harlan Steffen officiating.
No calling is planned.
Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse, is in charge of arrangements..
