Clell and Joanne Rowe celebrated their wedding anniversary Sept. 10, 2009. Clell and the former Joanne Hyde were married Sept. 10, 1959.

He retired from Da-Lite Screens. She worked at Blue Bell, Da-Lite and Zimmer.

The couple's children include: Brenda Rowe, Franklin, Tenn.; Tony and Lisa Rowe, Claypool; Judy Rowe, Pierceton; and Teresa Rowe (and spouse Fred) Parsons, Fort Wayne; and a grandchild.

A surprise party was Sept. 19 at the Leesburg Lions Club.
