WABASH - Roselyn Lucille Benner, 88, formerly of Wabash, died at 6:19 p.m. June 15, 2007, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

She was born June 16, 1918, in Miami County, to Francis and Ella Cattin Shafer. On Oct. 9, 1948, in Wabash, she married Lloyd Devoil Benner, who died Sept. 1, 1991.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Karen) White, Warsaw; two grandsons, Nicholas (and wife Aubrey) Rife, Warsaw, and Matthew (and wife Jane) Rife, Austin, Texas; a step-grandson, Kristopher (and wife Amber) White, Wabash; a step-granddaughter, Kimberly White, Wabash; eight great-grandchildren: Kennedy, Kylee and Kaden Rife, all of Warsaw; Jessica, Amanda, Michelle and Douglas Rife, all of Austin; and Devin White, Wabash. She was preceded in death by six sisters and two brothers.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave., Wabash. Burial will be at Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash.

Calling is one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
