He was born Aug. 25,1945, in Helper, Utah, to Monty and Edith Standley, who preceded him in death.
He worked at Dalton Corp., Warsaw, for 20 years.
Surviving are a son, Ronald Standley Jr., Winchester, Ky.; a step-daughter, Brenda (and spouse Dave) Snyder, Wichita, Kan.; three step-sons: John Whitmyer Jr., Elkhart; Tim Whitmyer, Jimtown; and Andy Whitmyer, Mishawaka; two grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three sisters: Willene (and spouse Jack) Wise, Provo, Utah; Virginia Marsh, Richfield, Utah; and Sharon (and spouse Tony)Cordova, Farmington, N.M.; and two brothers, Wayne Standley, West Virginia, and Jerry (and spouse Catherine) Standley, Richfield. He also was preceded in death by two brothers and a son.
Cremation has taken place in New Mexico. There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. Dec.19 at Warsaw Community Church.[[In-content Ad]]
